Royal Far West

Since its creation in 1924, Royal Far West has provided essential specialist services like psychology, speech pathology and occupational therapy to thousands of children living in rural and remote areas of Australia.

The campaign uses the simple motif of a child’s tin can telephone to convey Royal Far West’s role in connecting Australian country kids to the developmental care they need.

We ensured the sound design and bespoke music track were soft and atmospheric to compliment the script. The tin can telephone was central to the idea so the treatment of the sound of the little boy’s voice was crucial.

Tin Can Telephone was nominated for The One Club Creative award in 2019,  the world’s foremost non-profit organisation celebrating creative excellence in advertising and design.
